2009-01-01 New Year Party

A few of us got together on the night of 31st Dec 2008 at my home to celebrate the advent of 2009 and also have fun meeting old friends and and making a few new ones. It was not a very large group and most of us knew most others in the group.

I wish I had taken more photos. I hope the other guys put their cell phone cameras to good use. Especially since that was the only use any cell phone could put to on the New Year's early hours when all the networks were completely down due to overload.

2009-02-02 Namratha Birthday Party

At 12 midnight, we took a birthday cake to her. After she blew the candles (which refused to be put out), we applied a good part of the cake as a face pack and gobbled up the rest. Sadly none of us (including yours truly) had the sense to take a camera along. So no photos except those that might have come off the cell phones. But these I am yet to receive.

But we had a good dinner party later that day with some amazingly lovely food made by the birthday girl for all of us. Below are some snaps from then and below them is a video.
